About The Subscriber Text

Updated: November 21st, 2016

In MOBIT there are three different types of text messages: the opt-in, confirmation, and subscriber text. In this article, we will explain the subscriber text, who it is received by, where it is set up and its requirements.

About

Much like the confirmation text, the subscriber text is received by contacts that are subscribers. The differentiating factor is that a contact will only receive the subscriber text if they were a subscriber before being sent a text manually from the contacts section, or triggering a send a text action.

Set Up

The subscriber text will need to set up in multiple send a text configurations:

1 - In all send a text actions where to option has been selected to send a different text to existing subscribers.

2 - When sending a text to contacts manually, where the option has not been selected to send a text to contacts that are not currently subscribers.

3 - Send a text actions added of goals (excluding keyword received and opt-in form submitted goals), timers (field, date, and delay) and response goals, where the option has not been selected to send a text to contacts that are not currently subscribers.

Requirements

All subscriber text must include an opt-out command e.g. Reply STOP to cancel.
